Champagne
Champagne is sparkling wine from the Champagne district in north eastern France. Champagne is one of the world’s most mythical beverages and involves high-level craftsmanship.
Beautiful Reims and Épernay are the region’s main towns and the more than 33,000 hectares of cultivated land is spread over 319 small villages, some of which have the status of Grand Cru or Premier Cru. Champagne may only be made from the three grape varieties chardonnay (white), pinot noir (red) and pinot meunier (red).
