Kahlúa
The legendary coffee liqueur
Kahlúa is the original among coffee liqueur and began to be produced in 1936 in Veracruz, Mexico. Kahlúa is made of the finest Arabica coffee beans that are roasted and mixed together with sugar cane spirits and sweetened with vanilla to achieve the unique flavour of Mexico’s warm and humid highlands.
The coffee plants are grown under the trees so that the beans can mature slowly in the shade without the use of pesticides. The mature beans are hand picked, washed and sun dried.
Today, Kahlúa is an international big seller, used and appreciated by bartenders the world over. Kahlúa is also the key ingredient in legendary cocktails as Black Russian and White Russian.
